Parts Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Parts Manager to join our team at Hiring Winners. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our parts department, ensuring efficient operations, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Departmental Planning: Participate in strategic planning to optimize parts department performance.
  • Budgeting: Create and manage annual budgets to ensure effective resource allocation.
  • Inventory Management: Reconcile daily parts invoices, track gross sales, and maintain tight control over parts inventory.
  • Staff Development: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to parts department staff.
  • Reporting: Compile and analyze monthly management reports to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Ensure high-quality customer service is provided by the parts department.
  • Marketing: Coordinate parts marketing initiatives to drive sales growth.
  • Obsolescence Reporting: Calculate and submit monthly obsolescence reports to optimize inventory.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma and at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
