Pastry Artist

We are seeking a skilled Pastry Artist to join our Bakery team at Giant Eagle. As a key player in our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning and delicious cakes and pastries that exceed our customers' expectations.

• Product Preparation and Decoration: Prepare and decorate cakes and pastries for display in our Bakery cases, ensuring that only the freshest products are available for sale.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and making suggestions to enhance their shopping experience.
• Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, rotate products, and ensure that all products are properly dated and stored.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other Team Members to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
• Quality Control: Maintain high standards of quality and presentation in all products, ensuring that they meet our company's standards.

• Experience: 6 to 12 months of experience in a related field, or successful completion of the Giant Eagle Apprenticeship program.
• Education: No high school diploma required.
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds.
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age.
