About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Tool and Die Maker to join our team at ARaymond. As a key member of our production department, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing tools and dies, ensuring the highest level of quality and efficiency in our manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on tools and dies to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Spares Management: Utilize best practices to produce spare parts for tools and dies, ensuring a sufficient supply to meet production demands.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and troubleshoot die and strip issues to identify and resolve problems efficiently.
  • Die Service: Perform basic die service tasks to maintain the integrity and functionality of our tools and dies.
  • Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to company standards and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately maintain die maintenance records to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent, plus Associate's Degree from a two-year college or technical school; 6 months to 2 years' experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Technical Skills: Must be able to read blueprints and possess basic knowledge of machine setup and operating procedures.
  • Mathematical Abilities: Ability to accurately complete mathematics functions and concepts such as geometry, trigonometry, fractions, and percentages.
  • Measurement Skills: Ability to measure parts with calipers, micrometers, or various job-specific gages.
