Hawkins HR Consulting, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Rotating Equipment Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Electrical Reliability standards across various sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reliability Modeling and Prediction: Develop and apply reliability modeling and prediction methods to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Mechanical Integrity Standards: Assist in the implementation and improvement of Mechanical Integrity standards in the Americas, focusing on rotating equipment such as pumps, agitators, blowers, HVAC systems, and more.
  • Resource Assessments and FMEA's: Perform assessments of resource requirements and conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to identify potential issues.
  • PM Strategy Development: Determine the most cost-effective and efficient priorities and schedules for Preventive Maintenance (PM) activities.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with other site organizations and engineering disciplines to ensure new and modified installations meet reliability and maintainability expectations.
  • OEE Data Analysis: Study Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) data and use statistical methods to prioritize and target equipment bad actors.
  • Reliability Standards and Guidelines: Provide guidance on adherence to availability, maintainability, and reliability standards for equipment in maintenance, turnaround, and capital projects.
  • Reliability Planning: Strategically define, design, develop, monitor, and maintain an annual and three-year reliability plan in a professional and systematic manner.
  • Risk Management: Contribute to a Risk Management Plan, anticipating both reliability-related and non-reliability-related risks that could adversely impact plant operation.
  • Technical Support: Provide technical support to production, maintenance, and technical personnel to ensure smooth operations.
  • Problem-Solving and Training: Devise solutions to repetitive failures and other problems that adversely affect plant operations, and train and mentor facility site staff on mechanical reliability best practices.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5 years of Equipment Reliability experience in fast-paced, large manufacturing organizations.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, or related fields.
  • Travel: Must be willing and able to travel up to 25% in the Americas.
  • Leadership Skills: This role does not have direct reports, but will require leadership skills to mentor site technicians and engineers throughout the Americas.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 plus up to a 15% performance-based bonus.
