Nurse LPN Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team as a Medication Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living. As a key member of our care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and services to our residents, ensuring their safety and well-being.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments in a safe and organized manner, adhering to the Six Rights of Medication Pass.
- Review and document resident medication information, including medication updates and changes.
- Conduct Service and Health Updates as directed by the Resident Care Director.
- Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Service Plans (ISPs) and Individualized Care Plans (ICPs).
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure resident safety and well-being, reporting any concerns or incidents to the Resident Care Director.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of resident medication administration, including documentation of medication refills and changes.
- Restock medication carts and treatment carts, ensuring they are clean and organized.
- Participate in training and education programs to maintain certification and stay up-to-date on best practices in medication administration and resident care.
- LPN or LVN licensure in the state/province of employment.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with the care team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive resident information.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
