Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare examination rooms and assist patients in readiness for evaluations and procedures.
- Support healthcare providers during examinations and procedures as per their preferences.
- Evaluate patient symptoms, reactions, and overall health, documenting findings in medical records.
- Record vital signs and other necessary measurements according to office protocols.
- Coordinate tests and admissions for patients with local hospitals and facilities as directed by healthcare providers.
- Provide instructions and educational support regarding tests, procedures, and health modifications as ordered.
- Assist healthcare providers with specialized treatments, including gynecological exams, minor surgeries, and specimen preparation.
- Conduct office laboratory procedures, which may involve specimen collection, testing, and documentation.
- Manage prescription refill requests, including communication with pharmacies.
- Support clinical staff with immunizations, lab draws, and other necessary tasks.
- Occasional travel to various locations within the service area may be required.
- Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, diploma, BSN).
- Licensure: RN license in Indiana or another state with endorsement in Indiana. CPR certification is mandatory. Pediatric Clinic roles also require ACLS and NRP certifications.
- Experience: Preferred minimum of six months of recent experience in an outpatient care environment, with experience in diverse clinical settings being advantageous.
