We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our team at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our operating rooms and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare operating rooms for surgery, including setting up equipment and supplies.
- Monitor the sterile field during procedures and maintain asepsis.
- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during operations.
- Position and transport patients as needed.
- Organize room cleanup and ensure efficient room turnover.
- One year of recent experience as a Surgical Technologist or completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist training program.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Two years of experience in the main operating room.
- CST certification.
