Key Responsibilities- Examination Coordination: Coordinate daily activities to include performing examinations and associated clerical duties.
- Procedure Performance: Perform and assist with radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures.
- Documentation: Document patient history about specific procedures on requisition submitted by a physician.
- Contrast Media Administration: Prepare and administer contrast media as required.
- Consultation: Consult with radiologists and other physicians, as necessary.
- Equipment Operation: Select and operate equipment as dictated by demands of individual procedures and demonstrates correct and adequate anatomic positioning skills.
- Record Keeping: Maintain appropriate records as required by departmental standards.
- Physical Requirements: Requires strenuous physical effort while assisting patients from wheelchairs and stretchers.
- BLS Certification: Basic Life Support - American Heart Association
- ARRT Certification: American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
- Updated Resume: A current and updated resume is required for consideration.
