Residential Painter

The role of a Painter involves executing painting tasks for residential properties, focusing primarily on interior spaces, while adhering to the standards set by the organization. Additional responsibilities may include various site-specific projects as directed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine painting for both the interior and exterior of residential units, communal areas, and administrative buildings.
• Follow the painting schedule established by management to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Utilize an air texture applicator and hopper to apply texture to ceilings and walls.
• Safeguard unpainted surfaces by employing drop cloths, tarps, tape, and paint shields.
• Maintain an inventory of painting supplies and equipment, ensuring all tools are kept in a clean and organized manner.

Qualifications:

• A High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1 to 3 years of prior painting experience or relevant training is preferred.
• Familiarity with various surface types and appropriate paint and sealant applications.
• Proficient in multiple painting techniques, including the use of brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• For properties utilizing sprayers, candidates must pass a physical examination to confirm respirator health and capacity.
• Ability to effectively plan, organize, and prioritize tasks.
• Capability to meet deadlines and manage time efficiently.
• Strong assessment skills to gather information and make informed decisions.
• Ability to perform under pressure.
• A valid driver's license in good standing is required, along with compliance with the company's vehicular operation policies.
• Proficiency in English is necessary for following instructions, receiving guidance from supervisors, and communicating with clients and team members.
• Must be able to collaborate effectively within small teams.
