Job Summary:

The clinician will report to the clinical supervisor and be responsible for ensuring that clients' medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained on an individual basis in accordance with policies and procedures and current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. The primary responsibility will be providing services for the Youngstown Behavior Health programs.

Key Responsibilities:

The clinician will be responsible for ensuring that clients' medically related emotional and social needs are met and maintained on an individual basis. This will involve working directly with clients to provide services and support, as well as collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. The clinician will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reporting to the clinical supervisor as required.

Requirements:

A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required. The clinician must be licensed through the State of Ohio as an LSW/LPC/LISW/LPCC. Additionally, the clinician must be able to obtain and maintain First Aid, CPR - adult, child, and infant certification. A valid Ohio Driver's License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles and proof of auto insurance are also required. The clinician should have no more than 5 points on their license. Within 60 days of hire, the clinician must complete the required physical crisis management training(s) and certification(s) applicable to the assigned program.

Preferred Qualifications:

A master's degree in social work or a related field is preferred. The clinician should have two (2) years of supervised social work experience in a healthcare setting, working directly with individuals. Experience working with youth with autism spectrum disorders and adults and youth with mental health disorders is also preferred.
