Extruder Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Extruder Supervisor to join our team at Carlisle Staffing Consultants. As an Extruder Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the extrusion department, ensuring that production meets or exceeds quality standards, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

• Supervise extruder operators to perform machine setups, adjustments, and operations, while achieving production and quality standards
• Coordinate with the crew leader to ensure efficient and safe operation of equipment
• Responsible for machine set-up, general machine operation, and changeovers
• Ensure that all equipment is operating properly and that all raw material is properly located at all times
• Minimize scrap at all times and leave leftover material with the required inventory information
• Maximize extruder output while maintaining running standards
• Verify job orders and ensure that production maintains or exceeds all quality standards as evaluated
• Complete daily production paperwork and verify lot numbers

• Plastic and extrusion experience a plus
• Attention to detail imperative
• A master of a can-do mindset
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Active worker who likes being on their feet
• Committed to being on time and ready to support their team
• Detailed vision capabilities that include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus

This is a full-time position that requires working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
