About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our Orthopedic and Med Surg nursing departments at Intermountain Health. This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned nurse leader to join our team and contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience in managing nursing departments and overseeing clinical operations. They will be responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care, managing budgets, and promoting a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the nursing departments, including staffing management, budget oversight, and performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with nursing leaders, physicians, and other stakeholders to develop and implement departmental goals and objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and promote a culture of safety within the departments.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee engagement, recruitment, retention, and competency verification.
  • Develop and manage annual capital and operating budgets for the units, using resources effectively to meet financial goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
  • Current Nursing License to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Montana.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.
  • Leadership/supervisory experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
  • Must complete Intermountain Health's required leadership training and development courses within one year of accepting this leadership position.
