Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding service to patients and visitors while providing essential support to physicians and clinic staff.
  • Handle patient registration, ensure accurate information entry, collect payments, manage multiple phone lines, schedule appointments, and perform various administrative tasks.
  • Possess a minimum of 6 months of experience in the healthcare sector, exhibit excellent communication skills, and demonstrate proficiency in Word and Outlook, along with strong data entry and multitasking abilities.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is preferred.

Qualifications:

Education:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Proficiency in computer applications is required.
  • Additional education in medical terminology, electronic medical record training, or business courses is preferred.

Experience:

  • A minimum of one year of clerical experience and six months of healthcare experience is required, ideally in a similar position.
  • Experience in medical office operations, insurance, referrals, prior authorizations, or hospital settings is preferred.
  • Accurate keyboarding skills at a minimum of 40 words per minute are essential.
  • Strong customer relations, telephone etiquette, and computer application skills are required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Hourly wage ranges from $13.74 to $22.44, based on prior work experience.
