Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to medically fragile teenagers in their homes. As a Private Duty Nurse LPN, you will be responsible for implementing physician-prescribed plans of care, conducting patient assessments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician-prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner
  • Provide health education and training to family members
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required
  • Follow up with physicians, clients, family members, and other healthcare professionals on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice
  • Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required
  • Reliable transportation
