About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Meat Associate to join our team at The GIANT Company. As a key member of our meat department, you'll play a vital role in ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and process meat deliveries, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Weigh, price, and label products with precision and accuracy.
  • Stock and rotate meat cases, ensuring a visually appealing display.
  • Prepare valued-added products, such as cuts and special orders.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, answering questions and making recommendations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management, supporting the team's efforts.
Requirements
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to read, communicate, and understand company policies and safety regulations.
  • Must meet the ergonomic and physical requirements for this position.
  • Must be able to work in a cold environment.
Physical Demands
  • Shift hours: minimum 4-hour shifts or more depending on business needs.
  • Job cycles: continual maximum.
  • Lift/carry: 50 lbs.
  • Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
  • Category IV: Lifting, carrying, P/P up to 50 lbs.
  • Max pull static: 20 lbs.
