Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse to join our Elective Orthopedics team at Albany Medical Center.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform diagnostic evaluations to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a comprehensive Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel to maintain standards of professional nursing.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a professional academic nursing program with a Diploma, Associate Degree, or Baccalaureate Degree conferred.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license and certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of previous clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.
  • Excellent communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.
Compensation

The estimated salary range for this position is $43.50 - $48.50 per hour.
