Job Overview

This role requires commitment to a 12-hour rotating shift, specifically following a 2-2-3 schedule, from 7AM to 7PM.

As a Senior Facilities Technician, your primary responsibility will be to operate and maintain a variety of essential plant utilities, including boilers, chillers, compressors, and water and electrical systems.

You will also provide expert troubleshooting for utility equipment and serve as a subject matter expert for three specific utility systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and instruct others on utility systems utilized in manufacturing
  • Maintain systems and promptly respond to critical alarms
  • Monitor systems via control systems
  • Conduct inspections of mechanical areas
  • Address alarms in GMP-compliant zones

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent, supplemented by relevant industry experience or trade school education
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong communication and organizational abilities
  • Capability to interpret technical documentation
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Understanding of safety protocols
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts and weekends
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
  • Experience as a utility operator in pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred
