Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to lead a class of students through the school year. As a key member of our team at Step With Purpose, LLC, you will be responsible for assessing students' current academic level and designing instruction to meet their collective and individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create and implement a comprehensive curriculum that aligns with our educational goals.
  • Teach beginning reading and math skills to our students, fostering a love for learning and a strong foundation for future success.
  • Assist children in developing social and emotional skills, promoting a positive and supportive classroom environment.
  • Utilize a range of instructional methods and learning techniques to engage students and meet their diverse needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and other school personnel to ensure a collaborative and supportive approach to education.
  • Regularly assess students' skills and performance to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones and make data-driven decisions to inform instruction.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field and state teaching certification.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices in education and classroom management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Knowledge of classroom health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and ability to closely adhere to these guidelines.
  • Problem-solving and mediation skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and make informed decisions in a fast-paced educational setting.
