The Floor Maintenance Specialist is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of designated areas within the facility.

Basic Qualifications:

- Must be at least 18 years old.

- Must fulfill all requirements for approval to work in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including a ten-year work history if available.

- No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided on the job.

- A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience in customer service.

- At least one year of relevant work experience.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the cleanliness of building floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming. Adhere to protocols for using chemical cleaners and equipment to avoid damage to floors and fixtures.

2. Occasionally utilize ladders to dust and clean furniture, walls, machines, and equipment; this includes cleaning ceilings and polishing light fixtures.

3. Prepare cleaning solutions by mixing water with detergents or acids according to specifications.

4. Perform floor maintenance tasks such as stripping, sealing, finishing, and polishing.

5. Clean and vacuum carpeted areas, including applying spot cleaning treatments.

6. Conduct thorough cleaning of buildings/facilities, including heavy-duty tasks like shampooing rugs.

7. Inform management of any minor or major repairs needed for building systems.

8. Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with clients, co-workers, supervisors, and management.

9. Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures set by the Company, Clients, and regulatory authorities.

10. The Cleaner must be adaptable and willing to complete all assigned tasks.

This position is suitable for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited experience and education.
