Pediatrician - Primary Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Pediatrician to join our team at Asian Pacific Healthcare Venture. As a Pediatrician, you will be responsible for providing quality and cost-effective primary care services to our patient population, meeting their diverse health and social needs.
Key Responsibilities- Perform complete examinations of patients, including infants and children, and assess and manage acute and chronic conditions.
- Screen patients for health maintenance needs, including immunizations, and educate patients and family members in health promotion, disease prevention, and birth control methods.
- Provide preliminary telephone consultations to patients, initiate diagnostic studies, and refer abnormal results to the Medical Director or specialist.
- Assess children and adolescents for emotional stress, including depression, suicidality, and gender dysphoria, and counsel and refer as needed.
- Coordinate efficient patient flow, monitor referrals, and work with Maternal Child Health staff and Medical Records staff to obtain and review patient histories.
- Licensed to work in the state of California as a Medical Doctor.
- Graduate of a nationally accredited program.
- CPR certified.
- Knowledge of current principles, methods, and procedures for the delivery of medical evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment in the area of expertise.
- Ability to convey a warm, caring attitude for patients while representing the best interest of APHCV.
- Minimum 1 year experience in a primary care clinic.
- Knowledge of Asian Pacific Healthcare Venture's policies and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
