Position: Direct Support Professional (DSP)
Opportunity: $19.00 per hour / Full Time or Part Time / Flexible Shifts Available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care with the aim of helping clients lead healthy and fulfilling lives.
- Assist with personal care tasks, including mobility support and hygiene assistance.
- Carry out household duties such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.
- Plan and prepare nutritious meals, or assist families in meal planning and preparation.
- Transport clients to appointments or outings using a vehicle.
- Advise clients on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and proper nutrition.
- Perform health-related tasks, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication under supervision.
- Document clients' progress, services provided, and any changes in their condition.
- Ensure compliance with weekly reporting on clients' health and goals.
Additional Responsibilities: This list is not exhaustive; other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently.
- Assist in moving or repositioning clients of varying weights with the help of another person or adaptive equipment.
- Maintain current CPR certification.
- Pass a background check.
- Complete state-mandated annual training and re-certification.
