Position Summary:
- To support our expanding operations, we are seeking a proactive individual to join our Brea, CA facility, which is becoming a leading cold-process soap manufacturing site. This full-time position will work closely with the warehouse manager to oversee daily tasks related to receiving, shipping, inventory management, and overall organization of the warehouse and production area. This role is vital for establishing our new manufacturing operations and offers significant opportunities for career advancement.
- This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.
- This is a full-time role with onsite responsibilities and includes company benefits.
- The expected salary range for this position is $25 to $27 per hour, based on experience and local market conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager to achieve operational targets:
- Lead by example and provide training to team members on safety and efficiency protocols.
- Delegate warehouse tasks according to shift requirements.
- Ensure accurate headcounts and maintain team punctuality.
- Coach and mentor warehouse and inventory staff.
- Oversee the warehouse management system and implement best practices:
- Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and supplies.
- Organize and track all moving inventory within the warehouse.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of pallet racking and warehouse floors.
- Document and report all outgoing processing activities.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams:
- Receive, inspect, and verify deliveries for accuracy.
- Work with the Warehouse Manager to address any discrepancies or issues with vendors.
- Prepare outgoing orders for daily shipping.
- Assist in maintaining inventory levels of production supplies and office materials.
- Report any operational challenges to the Warehouse Manager.
- Manage material handling:
- Utilize forklifts and other equipment to store supplies in designated locations and update inventory records.
- Pick and deliver items to the production team as needed.
- Ensure physical organization and safety within the warehouse:
- Collaborate with team members, vendors, and freight drivers to maintain a secure and clean dock area.
- Adhere to safe forklift operation practices at all times.
- Promote a clean and safe working environment by setting a positive example for all employees.
Candidate Profile:
- High School Diploma or GED required; College Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse inventory management.
- Proficient in Google Sheets and other relevant software.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-motivated and able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with material handling preferred, including:
- Forklift certification.
- Experience with manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Bilingual (English and Spanish) is a plus.
- Interest in health, wellness, personal care, and eCommerce sectors.
- Experience in the consumer products industry is highly desirable.

- Positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
