About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our team at ATC White Plains. As a key member of our pharmacy department, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our patients.
In this role, you will work closely with our healthcare team to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care. Your expertise in oncology pharmacy will be instrumental in developing and implementing treatment plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and patient education.
- Work closely with our healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Monitor and manage medications, ensuring safe and effective use.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS in Pharmacy.
- NYS Pharmacist license and current New York registration required.
- 2-3 years hospital pharmacy experience; minimum 3 years annual CE requirements in chemotherapy/oncology.
- Oncology Certification by NYSCHP or BPS or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in hematology-oncology and infusion center operations preferred.
