Job Summary

UCHealth (Colorado) is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Highlands Ranch Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in coordinating patient care and treatment for individuals with chronic respiratory disease.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate patient assessment and care, including collaborative care, case management, education, and discharge.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings to manage and review patient care and treatment protocols, policies, and procedures.
  • Serve as a resource to staff in areas of program development, clinical practice, and professional development.
  • Assist with the development of educational materials for patients and organize support groups for patients and their families.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
  • Registered as a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • State licensure.
  • 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
  • BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with card in-hand before start date.
