Mixology Expert

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to provide exceptional service to our patrons at American Legion Post 329. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of various beverages and the ability to mix specialty drinks. They must be attentive, friendly, and able to engage with customers while ensuring a safe and responsible drinking environment.

Bartender Responsibilities:

• Take beverage orders from customers and serve drinks as requested
• Mix drinks using a range of ingredients, including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
• Verify the legal age of customers and monitor their alcohol intake
• Assist patrons in securing safe transportation home, if necessary
• Provide a positive guest experience by interacting with patrons and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized bar area
• Restock the bar with an adequate supply of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, and other essentials
• Organize the bar to streamline drink preparation and inventory management
• Place orders for supplies and maintain a well-stocked bar

Bartender Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification as a mixologist from a reputable bartending school is preferred
• At least 1 year of experience working as a bartender
• Ability to lift 20-pound boxes and stand for an 8-hour shift
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
