About the Role

Giant Food is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist pharmacists with various tasks, including prescription processing and data entry.
  • Provide excellent customer service and engage with patients to promote pharmacy services and products.
  • Act as a liaison to promote pharmacy immunization services and other health-related initiatives.
  • Perform inventory control and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Utilize technical skills, including computer proficiency, to support pharmacy operations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; pharmacy technician certification preferred.
  • 1 year of pharmacy technician experience and/or customer service experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical savviness and ability to learn new systems.
