Position Overview
Toyota's Western Region is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Credit Analyst. This role is essential in evaluating and making decisions regarding the approval, conditioning, and denial of retail and lease credit applications submitted by automotive dealerships.
Reporting directly to the Credit Supervisor, the individual in this position will align with the objectives of Toyota Financial Services (TFS) and deliver exceptional service to our dealer network, fostering and maintaining strong relationships with dealership staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure decision callback times meet or fall below established benchmarks.
- Assess and negotiate deals as needed to uphold the quality of purchases within set guidelines.
- Inform management of any issues or irregularities related to retail, lease, or wholesale financing, breaches of trust, or other violations of company policies.
- Monitor dealer trends and identify as well as report any adverse developments.
- Collaborate with the Credit Investigation team as necessary.
Qualifications
- Experience in automotive retail and/or wholesale financing.
- Background in retail credit, collections, dealership financial statements, or wholesale financing.
- Strong attention to detail and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating shifts and potential overtime on holidays and weekends.
- Ability to adapt to a hybrid work model, balancing in-office and remote work as scheduled.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
