ROLE: SENIOR GOVERNMENT FINANCIAL ANALYST

Our Government Human Services Consulting (GHSC) division addresses the distinctive and complex demands of the public health sector, offering a comprehensive range of consulting services to government entities at local, state, and federal levels nationwide. GHSC excels in guiding government-funded health care initiatives to become more effective in procuring health services while navigating the shifting landscape of public health regulations and operations.

To tackle these stimulating and significant challenges, GHSC assembles a team of over 425 highly skilled consultants, clinicians, actuaries, analysts, and pharmacists across multiple offices to ensure a cohesive approach to the administrative, operational, actuarial, and financial aspects of publicly funded health care programs.

A TYPICAL DAY IN THIS ROLE INCLUDES:
  • Conducting thorough analyses of health care data utilizing spreadsheet and database management tools.
  • Supporting the creation of client communications, proposals, reports, spreadsheets, and presentations.
  • Engaging in diverse projects to deepen understanding of health care delivery systems, particularly government-funded health and welfare programs.
  • Thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic consulting environment alongside colleagues at all levels.
  • Collaborating with a focused team on smaller assignments while having opportunities to contribute to larger client and industry initiatives.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A bachelor's degree expected in the near future, with a focus on fields such as computer information sciences, economics, finance, mathematics, actuarial science, management information systems, statistics, public policy, public health, or a related analytical discipline.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis without the need for sponsorship.
