Fabrication Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Fabrication Specialist to join our team at Soap Creek Resources. This is a dynamic role that requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or job shop environment. Key responsibilities include operating various machines such as auto saws, shear, ironworker, press brake, CNC plasma table, laser jet, water jet, and tube bender. The ideal candidate will also possess strong knowledge of blueprint reading, programming, and layout using CNC nesting software, as well as basic understanding of inventory management systems.

• Operate a range of metalworking machines to fabricate components and parts.
• Program and layout using CNC nesting software to optimize production efficiency.
• Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate fabrication.
• Accurately record inventory transactions and labor times.
• Maintain a safe working environment by following quality and environmental health and safety policies.

• Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a fabrication or job shop environment.
• Ability to operate machinery listed above.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to regularly stand, walk, and use hands to operate machinery.
