Job Overview

Baxter Enterprises, a leading provider of full-service solutions to the automotive plastics industry, is seeking an experienced IT Manager to oversee the maintenance and development of its information systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve the company's IT infrastructure, including hardware and software systems.
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to support business growth and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of IT professionals to ensure effective delivery of IT services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address business needs and opportunities.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems.
  • Develop and maintain backup and disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure data retention policies and compliance requirements are met.

Requirements:

  • Expert-level experience with AS/400 and OS400 systems.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) is a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, Access, and ERP/MRP systems.
  • In-depth understanding of communication systems, software applications, client/server networks, internet/intranet applications, computer science, and network security and maintenance.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to proactively identify and address potential system vulnerabilities and security threats.
