Job Summary

McPherson College is seeking a dynamic and innovative candidate for the position of Assistant Director of Financial Aid. This is a full-time, hourly, 12-month position eligible for the college's full employee benefits plan.

The Assistant Director of Financial Aid supports the director in office administration and coverage, attends meetings, and serves in the absence of the director. They also provide oversight to financial aid support staff and student workers.

This position is responsible for awarding institutional, federal, and state aid while ensuring compliance. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years' experience in a college or university financial aid office. Good written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are necessary. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, and any financial aid software for higher education is required.

McPherson College uses JenzabarOne for financial aid awarding. This position requires a Bachelor's degree. Alternative work schedules may include occasional evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities:
