About the Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Truck Driver - Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for safely operating a heavy commercial truck and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

The Heavy Truck Driver - Customer Service Representative will be responsible for:

  • Safely operating a heavy commercial truck along designated routes and ensuring timely delivery of services
  • Providing exceptional customer service and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Performing daily pre- and post-operation inspections of the vehicle to ensure compliance with safety standards
  • Identifying unsatisfactory waste containers and tagging them according to company procedures
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area and adhering to all safety protocols

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's license with air brakes endorsement
  • Two years of prior experience driving commercial trucks preferred
  • Good customer service skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional manner
  • Ability to lift and load refuse and operate manual and/or automatic controls
  • Basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor repairs to containers
