Role Overview:
The Language Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing students' communication abilities, focusing on the identification and treatment of speech and language disorders.

Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Professional Educator License with a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Endorsement.
  • Exhibit exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Have experience working collaboratively in a student-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate students' communication skills to identify disorders and recommend treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure effective communication and service delivery.
  • Organize and facilitate meetings for eligible students, including assessments and treatment planning.
  • Design and implement treatment strategies and educational resources to support students with communication challenges.
  • Instruct students on the use of communication technologies to enhance their learning experience.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of student progress and treatment outcomes.
  • Engage in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in the field.
