Overview:
Laredo Medical Center is in search of committed Registered Nurses for our 3C Medical Surgical Unit. This unit specializes in delivering comprehensive care for patients with intricate medical and surgical needs, emphasizing the enhancement of patient autonomy and the provision of high-quality healthcare.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess, devise, execute, and record nursing care for designated patients.
  • Support physicians during assessments and medical procedures.
  • Conduct patient evaluations and administer prescribed medications.
  • Set patient care objectives and instruct patients and their families on self-management techniques.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
  • Possess a valid Registered Nurse license in Texas.
  • BLS certification is mandatory within 30 days of employment.
  • ACLS, PALS, or NRP certification is advantageous.
  • 1 year of full-time or 3 years of part-time experience in acute care is preferred.
  • Handle with Care certification is desirable.
