Job Summary

Valkyrie Enterprises is seeking a highly skilled Model Based Systems Engineer II to provide technical support to NAVWAR. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and applying advanced methods to investigate and solve complex military system design requirements and problems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and apply advanced methods to investigate and solve complex military system design requirements and problems.
  • Plan, conduct, and direct projects, including coordinating the efforts of engineers and technical staff.
  • Review completion of work, including system enhancements, and recommend changes in technical application.
  • Evaluate system capabilities and provide technical consultation to customers.
  • Work closely with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout the entire life cycle.
  • Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's of Science degree from an accredited college/university in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or other related engineering or computer science discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience in related fields, including management, reduction, and analysis of architecture data, development of Systems of Systems enterprise architecture, and architecture design tradeoffs.
  • Experience with architecture design and development to modify/improve functionality, as well as reviewing, analyzing, and modifying C4ISR architectures.
  • Developing Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) products.
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance and ability to maintain that clearance.
Travel and Security Requirements

Occasional travel, less than 10%. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID.

Physical Requirements

Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods. Required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms. Repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Require moving objects up to 50 pounds.
