Respiratory Therapist

Stability Direct is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team in a dynamic inpatient setting. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.
Key Responsibilities- Administer all forms of respiratory care and treatment to patients, including ventilation, oxygen therapy, and aerosolized medications.
- Monitor patients' disease processes and collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to modify therapy as needed.
- Provide patient and family education on respiratory equipment and services, infection control practices, and disease processes.
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure a smooth transition of care for patients.
- Perform routine surveillance and equipment inspection to ensure proper use and functioning of respiratory equipment.
- Participate in patient care rounds and communicate effectively with nursing and ancillary staff.
- Document patient care and therapy in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Adhere to department and hospital policies and procedures regarding safety standards and infection control.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited program.
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of New Jersey.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NBRC credential or eligible.
- BCLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience in inpatient respiratory care, preferably in a hospital setting.
