Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Assistant to join our team at DAP Health. As a Radiology Assistant, you will work under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Site Manager to provide assistance to physicians, mid-level providers, and patients. Your primary responsibilities will include performing exams, explaining procedures to patients, operating diagnostic equipment, and inputting patient demographic information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic examinations and explain procedures to patients
  • Operate diagnostic equipment and ensure proper functioning
  • Input patient demographic information and process billing information
  • Monitor radiographic equipment and perform routine maintenance
  • Inventory and order supplies
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved high school or GED equivalent
  • Certification from an accredited Limited Radiology Technical School
  • One year of work experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English preferred
  • California Limited Radiographic permit
  • Current and Valid CPR and First Aide certification
