About the Role
As the Technical Manager of Quality Assurance, you will lead a dedicated team of QA professionals responsible for upholding high-quality standards for the CoStar Real Estate Manager product. In a landscape where organizations are pressured to maximize efficiency, our solutions empower clients to make informed decisions and optimize their real estate investments.
CoStar Real Estate Manager is the leading platform for lease accounting, administration, and portfolio management, enabling clients to enhance collaboration and decision-making across their teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all facets of the QA organization, including:
- Establishing a clear vision for the QA team
- Developing proactive testing strategies to ensure system reliability
- Creating roadmaps to enhance test coverage with a focus on automation
- Guiding CI/CD initiatives while mentoring team members
- Engage in hands-on activities such as writing test cases, reviewing logs, and conducting manual tests.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Managers, DevOps, Tech Leads, and business partners to ensure project success.
- Provide ongoing metrics and reports on quality performance.
- Recruit and nurture talent within our expanding organization.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution
- Proven commitment to previous employers
- 8+ years of QA testing experience
- 5+ years in QA leadership or management roles
- Proficiency in Automation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of modern web application development and deployment
- Experience testing APIs and UI with responsive design
- Familiarity with Agile SDLC and Test Cycles (Automation, Regression, User Acceptance)
Preferred Qualifications
- General troubleshooting experience (e.g., Datadog, Kibana)
- Familiarity with BrowserStack and Chrome Debug tools
- Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
- Knowledge of JavaScript and .Net
