Job Responsibilities
As a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations. Your duties will include:
  • Operating a tractor/trailer and transporting products to and from specified destinations
  • Loading and unloading trailers, including manual and palletized loading/unloading
  • Transporting chips, dips, and other products to and from large grocery stores, manufacturing facilities, and other traffic centers
  • Obtaining signature of receipt, picking up returns, and completing logs and other paperwork related to deliveries
  • Using an electronic logging device to track hours and miles
  • Communicating with customers, sales drivers, and dispatch to ensure smooth delivery operations
Requirements
To be successful as a Regional Class A CDL Driver, you will need to possess the following qualifications:
  • A valid Class A commercial driver's license
  • At least 100,000 verifiable accident-free miles or more than 2,500 accident-free hours
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays
  • Ability to lift 15 to 50 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull, and handle products with or without a reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, up to five hours daily, with or without a reasonable accommodation
