Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Class A CDL holder to join our team as a Local Delivery Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering freight to dedicated accounts in the NYC area, while ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods.

This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy city driving and are comfortable with navigating through busy streets. As a member of our team, you will have the chance to work independently, managing your own route and ensuring that all deliveries are completed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver freight to designated accounts in the NYC area
  • Ensure timely and safe transportation of goods
  • Manage your own route and prioritize deliveries accordingly
  • Maintain accurate records of delivery times and any issues encountered
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on company-owned vehicles

Requirements:

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • At least 1 year of experience driving in the NYC area
  • Safe driving record (MVR, CSA)
  • Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screening and meet DOT medical requirements
  • Good stable work record
  • Current DOT physical
