Nursing Manager

As a Nursing Manager at Redeemer Health, you will play a vital role in planning, coordinating, and directing the operation and management of our skilled nursing departments, dementia unit, and short-stay facilities. This position requires the use of independent judgment in the facility's day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the goals and objectives of the LifeCare Division, regulatory and legal aspects in the Long-term care industry, and the Sisters of the Redeemer Health and Redeemer Health.
Key Responsibilities- Support the Director of Nursing in planning, coordinating, and directing the operation and management of the skilled nursing departments, dementia unit, and short-stay facilities.
- Use independent judgment in the facility's day-to-day operations, ensuring alignment with the goals and objectives of the LifeCare Division, regulatory and legal aspects in the Long-term care industry, and the Sisters of the Redeemer Health and Redeemer Health.
- Emphasize a vision of aging that is meaningful and relationship-based, promoting resident strengths and abilities, capacity for social contribution, unique values, preferences, living habits, and autonomy of choice.
- Collaborate with the management team to ensure seamless operations and high-quality care.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve resident outcomes, satisfaction, and overall experience.
- RN with 3 years of experience, BSN preferred.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- Flexibility with scheduling.
- Computer experience preferred.
- Ability to be a change agent and demonstrate sensitivity to residents' emotional, social, mental health, and spiritual needs.
