The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) plays a crucial role in providing skilled nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, as per the developed care plan and physicians' orders, for each individual patient.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality patient care in compliance with physician instructions.
- Continuously observe and assess patient condition and care needs, reporting changes to the supervisor and/or physician as necessary.
- Document all activities, assessments, nursing actions, responses, and coordination of care in a timely manner.
- Participate in updating the nursing care plan.
- Take appropriate nursing action based on assessment and achieve expected outcomes.
- Recognize changes in patient needs and responses requiring intervention and implement care to prevent risk or reduce risk.
- You must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Holding a current, unrestricted state license as a Licensed Nurse in the state of practice is mandatory.
- Current CPR certification is required.
