Caregiver and Companion

We are seeking a qualified Caregiver and Companion to join our team at Granite State Independent Living. As an Attendant Care Employee, you will provide personalized support to our consumers, enhancing their quality of life and promoting their independence.

This is a per diem opportunity with flexible schedules ranging from 7-10 hours a week, set by the consumer. The ideal candidate will be available to work variable shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

The estimated salary for this position is $18-$22 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

To qualify, you must be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and possess a valid driver's license. You will also need to pass a background check and have adequate car insurance (if applicable). A Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA) license is not required for this position.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, and eating.
• Providing in-home care and support to consumers with varying abilities.
• Performing range of motion exercises and assisting with ambulation and transfers.
• Preparing meals and managing household chores.
