Key Responsibilities:

  • Animal restraint and triage of incoming patients

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role; certification as a CVT/RVT/LVT is advantageous
  • Exceptional customer service skills and precise communication abilities
  • Competence in interpreting medical records and documenting client histories accurately
  • Knowledge of preventative care, surgical protocols, and hospital operations
  • Ability to safely and effectively restrain animals
  • Proficiency in venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and intubation
  • Experience in laboratory sample collection and processing
  • Skill in positioning and capturing radiographs, including dental radiographs
  • Expertise in anesthesia and surgical monitoring
  • A proactive approach to learning and skill enhancement
  • Openness to constructive feedback to improve operational efficiency
