Facial Plastic Surgeon Position

The University of Iowa Department of Otolaryngology is seeking a faculty member for a position in our Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery Division. This appointment may be at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, and on either the tenure track or clinical (non-tenure) track, consistent with clinical experience and research interest.
Requirements- A medical doctorate or equivalent is required.
- Fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery is necessary.
- Candidates must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Iowa.
- Board eligibility or certification in otolaryngology is required.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. and eligible to hold an appointment in the Veterans Affairs Health Care System.
- Applicants must demonstrate a high level of communication and collaboration.
- Experience in the VA Health Care Systems is desirable.
Faculty appointments with significant administrative/leadership responsibilities must include a required qualification about job-related experience with fostering a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment or otherwise demonstrate the ability to foster a welcoming and respectful work/academic environment.
