Key Responsibilities
  • Conducts interviews with users and subject matter experts to identify objectives and gather requirements.
  • Maintains and develops documentation for various applications utilized in development, support, and training.
  • Facilitates meetings, prepares agendas, records minutes, and tracks action items across multiple projects.
  • Leads medium-scale technical implementation initiatives.
  • Establishes timelines, formulates roadmaps, and strategizes for code releases, production deployments, testing, and training.
  • Creates detailed functional specifications.
  • Generates regular status reports and project communications for management and executive leadership.
  • Coordinates project activities, providing guidance on systems and representing stakeholders in meetings.
  • Employs scrum methodology to refine backlogs, collaborate with product owners, and assist with release planning and dependency management.
  • Coordinates testing efforts with the QA team and application users.
  • Prepares software release notes and training materials for application users.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; relevant certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA, PMI-ACP, or Six Sigma preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a software or application development business analyst role, with a proven track record in delivering business systems solutions within an enterprise IT framework.
  • Experience in creating user stories, journey maps, process flows, and other analytical documentation.
  • Proficient in facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and requirement gathering sessions.
  • Understanding of project management principles, particularly concerning resource allocation and timelines.
  • Ability to document business requirements and workflows for enterprise applications effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data, identify trends, and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies and DevOps practices, including continuous integration, delivery, and deployment.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices for systems implementation, testing, and risk management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, analytical, and verbal/written communication skills.
  • Previous experience in the cruise line industry is advantageous.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Work Environment

This position is hybrid, requiring the successful candidate to be within commuting distance and able to work in the office a few days each week.
