Job Description

PJS of Texas, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. As a Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our building, ensuring a welcoming environment for our tenants and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the building is clean and presentable at all times, including lobbies, common areas, restrooms, and other high-traffic areas.
  • Restock supplies in restrooms and other areas as needed.
  • Service kitchen, cafeteria, and break rooms, particularly before and after busy times.
  • Perform continuous touch-point cleaning to reduce the spread of illness and eliminate bacteria and germs.
  • Respond to spills and other cleaning emergencies.
  • Remove or warn of safety hazards, such as objects in the way of pedestrians or wet floors.
  • Remove litter and debris from entrances and parking lots.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work assigned hours (Monday-Friday).
  • Ability to write, read, and speak basic English.
  • Ability to stand and walk for the entire duration of the shift.
  • Ability to frequently bend, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to lift between 25lbs-50lbs frequently throughout the duration of the shift.
  • Ability to work both independently and in team settings.
