Join Our Team as an Independent Optometrist

At Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled and independent optometrist to lease space inside our Walmart stores. As an independent lease holder, you will have the autonomy to establish your own practice, set your own hours, and control your patient schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality eye and vision care services to patients
  • Establish your own days of practice and hours of operation
  • Set your own fee schedule and keep 100% of exam/professional fees
  • Have the option to opt into equipment/instrumentation, administrative, and/or Opt-Tech support services (if state allows)
Requirements:
  • Doctor of Optometry (OD) from an accredited optometry school
  • Valid state optometry license
  • Ophthalmologist (MD or DO) from an accredited school (if applicable)
  • Valid state ophthalmology license (if applicable)
  • General Liability Certificate
  • Professional Liability Insurance Certificate
  • W-9
