Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Manager to join our team at Temple University Health System. As a key member of our facilities department, you will be responsible for providing daily work orders, maintaining and updating documentation, and assisting in emergency and disaster recovery planning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Engineering in managing department budgets and preparing capital equipment/projects
  • Coordinate and supervise independent contractors and employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments
  • Develop and implement new strategies and procedures to improve operations and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and DOH regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service and support to patients, visitors, and staff
Requirements
  • 4 years of experience in building trades working in a hospital maintenance environment
  • 2 years of experience overseeing maintenance staff in a management role
  • General experience with and ability to operate a variety of power equipment and hand tools
  • Driver's license and CHFM certification preferred
