Electrical Maintenance Specialist

At Golden Aluminum, we're committed to innovation and sustainability. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our state-of-the-art aluminum rolling mill.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical and electronic equipment, including programmable controls, numerical controls, and power supplies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Inspect and maintain electrical equipment to meet regulatory codes and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop and implement maintenance schedules and work instructions.
  • Operate mobile equipment, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in electrical maintenance or a related field.
  • Knowledge of electrical systems, including AC and DC circuits, and experience with control systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and blueprints.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
